Konrad Palka – President and Chief Executive Officer

Konrad Palka has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pharmena since the Company’s formation.

Prior to joining Pharmena, he worked in the financial sector. From 1994 to 2003 he engaged in sales and marketing, inter alia as Private Banking Branch Manager of Bank Austria Creditanstalt, Sales Director at the pension fund established by Citibank – General Pension Society DOM, and Sales and Marketing Director at Asset Management Companies of the BRE Bank – SKARBIEC Financial Service and General Pension Society SKARBIEC-EMERYTURA.

Konrad Palka is a graduate of the University of Lodz, the Faculty of Finance and Banking and he has earned the Executive Certificate in Business Administration, University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business. He has completed a number of courses in management, marketing, and sales conducted, e.g. by Swiss Re, Bank Austria Creditanstalt, and Citibank.

Marzena Wieczorkowska – Vice President, Research and Development

Marzena Wieczorkowska has acted Pharmena since the Company’s formation. Since April 2008, she has been Vice President of Research & Development at Pharmena SA. Before, since 2003, she had been Member of the Board, Research & Development Director at Pharmena Ltd. Since July 2013, Marzena Wieczorkowska has also performed the function of the Plenipotentiary for the Quality Management System ISO 22716 in the Company.

Prior to joining to Pharmena, from 1998 to 2003 she engaged in scientific research at the Institute of Applied Radiation Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, Technical University of Lodz. In 2003 she obtained Ph.D. degree in chemistry.

During 1999-2002, she was a beneficiary of the Scholarship of the Foundation for Polish Science. Marzena Wieczorkowska is a graduate of the Lodz University of Technology, the Faculty of Chemistry. She has taken a number of training courses in cosmetology, safety assessment, labelling, cosmetics production technology and good manufacturing practices (GMP) for cosmetics.

Supervisory Board

dr inż. Tomasz Filipiak – Chairman of the Supervisory Board

A graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Lodz University of Technology, majoring in Drug Chemistry – Ph.D. in chemical sciences. Individual investor and trader with over 20 years of experience in financial markets. In 2016 – 2018 lecturer at the Collegium of Management and Finance of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2004, he has been cooperating with the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the GPW Foundation on the Stock Exchange School project.


Agnieszka Dziki – Member of the Supervisory Board

As part of her professional practice, Agnieszka Dziki specializes in medical law, in particular in providing legal services for healthcare providers, as well as in commercial company law and economic law. In 2007-2011, she worked at the City of Łódź Office, and then at the Cultural Institution “EC1 Łódź – the City of Culture”, coordinating work related to the project called “Nowe Centrum Łodzi” (“The New Centre of Łódź”). She was responsible for working with foreign partners, initiating and maintaining international contacts, working with the state authorities, local authorities and non-governmental organizations, as well as for strategic consulting for project planning and implementation, including matching partners to carry out joint ventures. Agnieszka Dziki operates under the business name of KANCELARIA ADWOKACKA ADWOKAT AGNIESZKA DZIKI and she is a partner to NZOZ CENTRUM MEDYCZNE S.C. AGNIESZKA DZIKI, PAULA MARIA SZEWCZYK. Agnieszka Dziki is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Łódź. She completed her legal apprenticeship at the District Bar Council in Łódź.


Zbigniew Molenda – Member of the Supervisory Board

Zbigniew Molenda – a founder and Vice President of the Board of Pelion Healthcare Group. The company services cover wholesale, retail sale and sale to hospitals. The company has been present on the market since 1990, and today it is one of the largest groups operating on the healthcare markets in Poland and Lithuania, with sale results amounting to 2 billion USD. Zbigniew Molenda graduated from Lodz University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.


Anna Janicka – Member of the Supervisory Board

Anna Janicka has higher education – she graduated from the University of Łódź, Faculty of Management (year of graduation – 2003), majoring in Management and Marketing, specialization in Accounting and Financial Management, additional specialization in Quality Management. He has the qualifications of a statutory auditor. He has experience in supervising the activities of companies in the field of, among others: legal regulations, financial management, controlling and corporate supervision.


Jacek Szwajcowski – Member of the Supervisory Board

Jacek Szwajcowski – a businessman, a founder and President of the Board of Pelion Healthcare Group. The company services cover wholesale, retail sale and sale to hospitals. The company has been present on the market since 1990, and today it is one of the largest groups operating on the healthcare markets in Poland and Lithuania, with sale results amounting to 2 billion USD. Jacek Szwajcowski graduated from Lodz University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He has over 21 years of experience in management within pharmaceutical industry. Since 2000, he has participated in annual meetings during World Economic Forum in Davos. Since 2001, he has been a member of the board of Polish Business Roundtable. In 2005, he became a member of international organisation Forum of Young Global Leaders. He is the originator of I Care for My Health Foundation and Pharmacy Museum in Lodz. He is a publisher of monographic series about Polish pharmacies.


Jacek Dauenhauer – Member of the Supervisory Board

Mr Jacek Dauenhauer is currently Vice-President of the Management Board of the holding company, Pelion S.A. (formerly: PGF S.A.). From 1997 Mr Dauenhauer worked for Medicines S.A., and then for Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna S.A., where he was Chief Financial Officer, and since 2007 served as Vice-President of the Management Board. 

Mr Jacek Dauenhauer holds a degree from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Łódź. He has also completed a number of courses and training programmes in economics and finance, including a course for investment advisers in 1993.
